The Coastal Plain Research Arboretum provides a living resource for research, education, and recreation among the native plant species of the Southeast Coastal Plain. It is located on the grounds of the University of Georgia, Tifton Campus, formerly known as the Coastal Plain Experiment Station. The arboretum encompasses 38 acres of stream-side forest and wetland.
